Mataram — IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram held a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Green Dharma: Bhakti Pertiwi for Nusantara Jaya program on Thursday, 05 February 2026, at the Senate Room of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. The meeting marked an important initial step in ensuring the smooth implementation of the program, which will feature tree planting activities and bird release as symbols of ecological responsibility and harmony with nature. The meeting was chaired directly by the Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., and attended by university leaders and officials across units within the institution. From the outset, the discussion proceeded in a conducive, orderly, and collaborative atmosphere, reflecting strong institutional commitment to the success of the program.

During the meeting, participants discussed technical preparations, division of roles, coordination among committees, and the philosophical meaning of Green Dharma as a concrete expression of devotion to the earth (Bhakti Pertiwi). Attention was also given to ensuring that the activities align with the university’s academic vision, environmental ethics, and community engagement values. Through his guidance and directions, the Rector implicitly emphasized that Green Dharma is not merely a ceremonial activity, but a collective moral responsibility of the academic community to care for the environment. He encouraged all units to work synergistically, highlighting that harmony between humans and nature is a value that must be practiced, not only taught in classrooms. His remarks reflected optimism, trust in teamwork, and a strong expectation that the program would leave a meaningful ecological and educational impact.

Overall, the meeting ran smoothly and productively, with constructive input from participants and clear follow-up plans agreed upon. The preparation meeting reaffirmed IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices through concrete actions, in line with the spirit of Green Dharma: Bhakti Pertiwi for Nusantara Jaya.
