Mataram — The Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram organized a Public Lecture entitled “The Solution of Life’s Problem” on Friday, 30 January 2026, at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the Rectorate Building, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. The event featured H.H. Bhakti Ananda Haridas Goswami, a distinguished Spiritual Master from India, as the keynote speaker.
The public lecture was officially opened by the Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd. In his opening remarks, the Rector warmly welcomed the activity and expressed his appreciation to the organizing committee for successfully holding an academic forum that integrates intellectual discourse with spiritual reflection. He emphasized that such activities are important in enriching campus life and strengthening the spiritual dimension of higher education.
The Rector further conveyed his hope that participants would gain new perspectives on life, particularly from a spiritual point of view, enabling them to respond to life’s challenges with wisdom, inner balance, and ethical awareness. He also expressed his expectation that public lectures of this nature could be conducted continuously, involving both national and international figures, to reinforce IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram’s role as a center for holistic and spiritually grounded academic development.
The event was initiated and chaired by I Gusti Lanang Ngurah Weda, SS., M.Pd., a senior lecturer at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. In his message, he stated that the public lecture was designed as a reflective academic space where participants could explore solutions to life’s problems through spiritual insight. He shared his positive impression of the event, noting that the lecture successfully bridged academic inquiry with practical spiritual guidance relevant to contemporary life.
During the session, H.H. Bhakti Ananda Haridas Goswami delivered profound insights on understanding and addressing life’s problems through spiritual awareness, self-discipline, and devotion. As a spiritual teacher with extensive experience in teaching Vedic philosophy and spiritual practice across various countries, he offered participants authentic perspectives rooted in a strong spiritual lineage. His presentation encouraged participants to view life’s challenges not merely as obstacles, but as opportunities for personal growth and self-realization.
