Mataram – Institut Agama Hindu Negeri (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram has reaffirmed its commitment to academic quality assurance through the implementation of an on-site accreditation assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication Sciences (LAMSPAK). The assessment was held on Monday, 12 January 2025, at the second-floor hall of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram.

The activity was officially opened by the Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd., and attended by the institution’s leadership, academic staff, and administrative officials. The on-site assessment formed part of the national accreditation process for the Master’s Program in Hindu Communication Studies.

The LAMSPAK assessor team was led by Prof. Anang Sujono, S.Sos., M.Si., D.Comm., accompanied by Dr. Rini Darmastuti, S.Sos., M.Si. During the assessment, the team evaluated various aspects of the study program, including academic standards, governance, human resources, learning outcomes, and institutional support systems, in accordance with national accreditation criteria.

In his opening remarks, Rector Prof. I Wayan Wirata expressed appreciation for the presence and guidance of the LAMSPAK assessors.

He emphasized that the assessment process serves not only as an evaluation mechanism but also as a constructive forum to strengthen institutional capacity, particularly in preparing quantitative and qualitative academic evidence.

The Rector also acknowledged the collective effort of the academic community in supporting the accreditation process and encouraged full participation throughout the assessment. Meanwhile, Prof. Anang Sujono highlighted that the on-site assessment is an integral part of a continuous quality improvement process.

According to him, the assessors’ role is to ensure that the study program demonstrates sustainable development and measurable progress in line with higher education quality standards. The assessment was carried out through document review, data verification, and clarification sessions with relevant stakeholders.

Through this on-site assessment, IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram expects the Master’s Program in Hindu Communication Studies to further enhance its academic quality, institutional governance, and competitiveness at the national level.
