
Mataram, October 8, 2025 — The Faculty of Dharma Acarya of the State Hindu Institute (IAHN) Gde Pudja Mataram and the Faculty of Dharma Acarya of IAHN Tampung Penyang, Palangka Raya, officially entered into a Cooperation Agreement on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The signing marks a new milestone in strengthening academic collaboration and institutional development between the two leading Hindu higher education institutions in Indonesia.The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Siti Zaenab, S.Ag., M.Pd., CIQaR, Dean of the Faculty of Dharma Acarya at IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, and Dr. Derson, S.Ag., M.Ag., Dean of the Faculty of Dharma Acarya at IAHN Tampung Penyang. This collaboration covers the utilization of educational facilities and infrastructure that support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service—as well as the joint development of institutional programs.
The agreement outlines the rights and obligations of both parties, ensuring that cooperation is conducted transparently and responsibly. It also includes provisions regarding shared financing arrangements and mechanisms for resolving potential disputes, ensuring that all aspects of the partnership are governed by mutual understanding and professionalism. Both institutions expressed their strong commitment to implementing the agreement as a foundation for long-term cooperation. Dean Prof. Dr. Siti Zaenab emphasized that this partnership reflects IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram’s dedication to advancing educational excellence rooted in the values of Dharma, while Dr. Derson affirmed that IAHN Tampung Penyang is fully committed to supporting collaborative efforts that promote the growth of Hindu religious education across regions. The mutual support shown by both faculties highlights the spirit of unity, respect, and shared purpose within the academic community.
The collaboration is also an embodiment of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which serves as the core principle of Indonesian universities—encompassing education, research, and community service. Through this cooperation, both institutions aim to strengthen their teaching quality, produce impactful research in the field of Hindu studies, and engage actively in community empowerment programs that reflect the noble values of Dharma and social harmony.
