IAHN GDE PUDJA MATARAM CONDUCTED THE FINALIZATION OF ITS STRATEGIC PLAN (Renstra) for the 2025–2029 period on Thursday, 29 January 2026. The activity was held in the second-floor meeting room of the Rectorate Building and attended by institutional officials of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, along with the Chairperson of the Hindu Organization of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.

The meeting was chaired and facilitated by I Komang Widya Purnama Yasa, M.I.Kom., who led the discussion process to ensure the completeness and coherence of the Strategic Plan document in accordance with institutional needs and prevailing regulations.

The Rector of IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd.. in his introductory remarks, emphasized that the preparation of the Strategic Plan is a strategic necessity for the institution. He explained that the Renstra serves as a policy guideline and reference framework for institutional development over a five-year period, covering academic, administrative, and governance aspects in a structured and measurable manner.

The Rector further highlighted that one of the main objectives of drafting the Strategic Plan is to ensure curriculum quality and accountability.

The Renstra is positioned as a shared reference and collective commitment for all academic units in implementing a curriculum that is accountable, standardized, and aligned with national higher education policies, while also supporting the achievement of institutional performance indicators.

In addition, the Rector underlined the importance of establishing priority scales in program planning and implementation, particularly in response to budgetary limitations resulting from efficiency policies. He stated that clear prioritization is essential to ensure optimal use of available resources while maintaining the effectiveness of institutional programs and activities.

During the discussion session, the meeting proceeded in a conducive and orderly manner. Participants actively provided input and constructive suggestions aimed at refining and strengthening the Strategic Plan document, particularly in terms of program relevance, feasibility, and alignment with institutional capacity.

The finalization of the Strategic Plan 2025–2029 is expected to serve as an official guideline for IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram in implementing programs and activities, strengthening governance, and improving academic quality in a sustainable and accountable manner.
