I Wayan Wirata, A.Ma., S.E., M.Si., M.Pd, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perkumpulan Pendidik Pasraman Indonesia (P3I) Dewan Koordinator Kota Mataram, renewing their partnership in the development of Hindu religious education in the city. The signing ceremony took place at Banjar Karang Jasi, Mataram, and was attended by distinguished guests including the Head of the Hindu Community Guidance Division (Kabid Bimas Hindu), the Head of Cakranegara Subdistrict (Lurah Cakranegara), the Chairperson of P3I Kota Mataram, representatives from Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) Kota Mataram, and members of Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia Kota Mataram.

This renewed collaboration comes in light of the recent institutional name change from Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan Pasraman Kota Mataram (LPPPKM) to Perkumpulan Pendidik Pasraman Indonesia (P3I) Dewan Koordinator Kota Mataram, as stated in Decree No. 001/2024. Although the name has changed, the institution’s vision and mission remain steadfast, with a stronger commitment to advancing Pasraman education through structured programs and collaborative development. Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Wirata expressed his appreciation for the continued partnership, stating, “This agreement not only renews our shared commitment but also builds on the foundation we have established over the years to develop Hindu religious education in a more integrated and community-oriented way.”

The Chairperson of P3I Kota Mataram remarked that this collaboration is essential in responding to the growing need for qualified educators and structured support for Pasraman learning institutions. “Our new identity does not change who we are but strengthens our purpose. We hope to build stronger bridges with IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram for the benefit of Hindu education in Mataram,” she stated.

The event served as a symbolic affirmation of shared goals between academia and community-based religious organizations to preserve, enrich, and modernize Hindu education while staying rooted in spiritual and cultural values.
